Hello! My name is Jon and I am a Clinical Technician. I am a native North Carolinian from Pinehurst the golf capital of the world! I am also a United States Navy veteran who has made Mechanicsville, VA my home after seeing the world over. Having previous career expertise in both the civilian and military sectors, Ophthalmology has become my true passion. In 2023 I obtained my Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification from The International Joint Commission On Allied Health Personnel In Ophthalmology. My drive in life is to have a positive impact on society and to provide the highest quality of care possible to patients. My thirst for knowledge and engagement with others feeds my love for continuing education, trivia, history and little known facts of the world. Outside of the office I am a cat dad of three and enjoy spending my free time with my wife, three adult children and other family members as well as traveling to the beach and mountains.
