Covid-19 Policy

04/29/2022

At Chandler Eye Care Specialists, we have relaxed most of the Covid-19 restrictions. Those fully vaccinated do not have to wear masks at any time in the office. Companions are allowed with patients in the exam rooms and waiting rooms. We do not require proof of vaccination and we continue to perform meticulous cleaning of rooms and testing areas after every patient.

Patients may be asked prior to, and at the time of their appointment, some questions pertaining specifically to the risk of Covid-19. If any of these answers are positive, then the appointment may need to be rescheduled to a later date.
For example, patients with active Covid-19 will be asked to reschedule (this includes symptomatic patients as well as asymptomatic patients within 5 days of a positive test result.

Patients with a new cough, fever or chills, shortness of breath, headache, fatigue, muscle or body aches, sore throat, diarrhea, nausea / vomiting, congestion or runny nose, and a new loss of taste or smell may need to reschedule, depending on circumstances.
Our office staff and doctors (who are all fully vaccinated) also do not have to wear masks, be we will wear a mask if requested by the patient.

We ask that our patients comply with Bon Secours’ current masking and social distancing policies while in the Medical Office Building common areas.
