Advanced Technology Lens Implants Pre-Care

There are some things we ask you to do before you come in for advanced technology lens implants at Chandler Eye Care:

  • We will give you eye drops to prepare for your appointment.
  • Arrange to have someone to drive you home after the surgery. You should not drive for 24 hours post-surgery.

Advanced Technology Lens Implants Post-Care

After your advanced technology lens surgery, we would like you to do a few things for optimal results:

  • You will probably need 2 to 5 days of downtime to recover.
  • Keep using the eye drops we have prescribed for you.
  • Please come to any follow-up appointments we have scheduled for you.
  • Try not to strain your eyes after surgery.
  • Avoid heavy lifting or exercise for at least 72 hours after the appointment.
